Walking on the Teesdale Way

Although it was pouring with rain when we woke up, the weather had cleared by 11am, and we had blue skies for the rest of the day.
We walked about 6miles on the Teesdale Way to Barnard Castle-where we thought we deserved a pub lunch. The walk was fantastic taking us across fields, over the river and along river paths with the biggest trees I have seen for a long time.
