Floral Joy

Our place has been blessed with flowers this past week . . . And this is only some of them.
At today’s count there are six orchids in bloom, a miniature azalea and what appears to be dozens of daffodils.
Orchids in any shape or form are always spectacular, but especially those which have survived and now recovered from a dormant period, although some of these are brand new from the shops this week.
Blooms thankfully y seem to last forever, although realistically they do eventually die back.
Sadly though we had to relinquish a miniature rose this week and we never seem to have a lasting relationship with indoor cyclamen as brilliant as they are while blooming.
In the meantime the orchids are a joy to behold. And who knows- maybe another £1 worth of daffs again tomorrow.
