Thursday: Burns Night (Again)

I have a feeling it's Burns Night proper tonight.  At any rate, I was invited to a(nother) Burns Night Supper - this time a gala dinner.  It was fine - I was on a nice table.

I was actually originally asked to do the 'Toast To The Laddies' but I politely declined........I don't exactly feel well equipped for that.

As you see, there was also Scottish dancing.  It was incredibly earnest - and half the time they seemed to be prancing around in a manner that bore little relation to the music........
