Mount Pond: "Stop the Pigeon?"

More dramatic an entrance/exit in large.

Another bumper batch... We visited the Goosles on Eagle Pond, the various Impostles and others (cormorants, heron, Cayuga, mallards, shovelers, parakeets, and even a wren) on Mount Pond, and even swung by the Impostle on the boating pond en route to the Black Lab... There was a funny pair of Impostles on Mount Pond being dominant: a tiny territorial female and her gormless lumbering partner. She chased off another little visitor, and he saluted her in a reversal of the usual triumph ceremony form...
After its elegant landing, this heron also posed for me, and flew off low over the water (in a repeat of Thursday's aerodynamics demonstration).
