Back On Course
The golf course (or 16 holes of it at least) was open at last today and we were on the first tee in time to catch the early light on a wonderfully misty, frosty morning.
Considering it was our first round in over two weeks and the ground was still very boggy we didn't play too badly at all. It was just a pleasure to be back out playing on a fine winter's morning and to catch up with Henri, who we hadn't seen since before Christmas when his father-in-law was hospitalised; he's spent a lot of time travelling back and forth to Reading to visit him as well as being laid low by 'flu himself.
Back to Huish Park tonight for the rather less glamorous, but nonetheless important to our League 2 survival, game against Grimsby.
