Self Portrait : A Crack To The Head

For some fortuitous reason the strong light, shadows and cracks on the wall all fell into place just as I was passing. It struck me as an image that stood for my accident, the moment of impact from the car. It's strange when you are in an accident when some things seem to slow down and others speed up - time seems to twist round back on itself but also leap forward like some tangled confused trick.
Today's extra images are just what I saw on my walk back along the river to my house. The strong sunshine seemed to bring into focus everything around me that I wouldn't normally see on a dull, overcast day.
Went round to the doctor's this afternoon to try and book an appointment only to be told it's a two to four week wait - brilliant! There is the "walk in clinic" but this usually involves sitting around for hours on end before you get seen. The problem where we are is the excessive number of new houses being built with no thought to how this is going to effect doctor's surgeries, schools etc. It's something most people could see was going to happen from a mile off but there you go.
