Pram Jam at the Woodstock

Another better night with Audrey last night. She slept a full 4 hour stretch without waking 11pm to 3am (then only woke every hour after which is sooo much better than every 30mins). I went to bed at 8pm as a pre-emptive strike so managed to catch up on some sleep before her first feed too. Beating her at her own game!

Spent the morning today doing jobs in Chorlton - emails, bank, post office etc. then headed out to Didsbury for lunch with the NCT girls at the Woodstock, a pub which was full of prams and new Mums. Could hear snatches of conversations in every corner - "slept through", "weaning", "back to work", "teething"....we all tread a predictable path don't we? And it is pretty much the same one (give or take the odd complication).

Was nice to see the other NCT girls too. All looking really well and happy. Could we getting to the better times? It seems so. One Mum, Rachel described life more recently as though "a cloud had lifted". Know what she means and hope my cloud lifts soon as well.

Saw this little plastic bear propped up on a colour matched wheelie bin on my pram travels. He simply had to be my blip pic today.
