Cheeky

This one has been a cheeky monkey all day. He played football this morning - an hour of standing around in the nearly sleet freezing my body stiff. It’s taking all day to thaw out and have warm hands again. D was really happy as I spoke to the coach and he was able to drop down to the team where they know how to pass and the coaches do g take it too seriously. The only trouble is that when I spoke to that coach, he said D really should be in the next league up as he’s too good. Shane the good team isn’t much fun. We’ll have to see how it goes. It would be a shame if he can’t play because he’s too good and won’t play in the other team.

We spent the afternoon sat in front of a couple of films, fire lit, candles lit and snuggled on the sofa. A made some lovely curries and we had TV dinner.
I’m feeling poorly despite having taken strong ibuprofen - hope it’s not flu :-/
