The irony of actually having to call in sick on National Sickie Day. I took myself off to the doctors this morning to see to my lumpy face and predictably, it's an infection that will need a dose of antibiotics. It could also be the mumps but I have to wait for the swab to be sent off first. The NHS is truly the most wonderful thing we have and Trump better stop fake newsing all over it.

Thankfully, it's more unsightly than it is painful, so I just spent a day in bed with the company of my book.
