Diary of an Edinburgher

You laughing at me?

Gym visit ✔️

Ruth came to take Archie out for the first time - he met her just last week, but he gave her a good welcome. She arrived in high heeled boots and a smart blue wool coat - not quite dog walking clobber. But she took him to the Links for an hour or so. She discovered that no, he doesn’t like puppies (we'd warned her of course), but apart from that, and the cold, she seemed to have enjoyed the break in her studies.

I then took him with me while I popped into a place that JR had picked up a card for. They claimed to 're-align' everything, and cure all aches and pains - knees, back - you name it. Sounds just what I need! However, I was quite underwhelmed, though the person I spoke to was just the receptionist and admitted to knowing very little about the technique. Perhaps I should pop in when the specialist is there...

I was very glad I had my special hat that covers my ears as we walked home over the Meadows.

Now and again, Archie does this funny thing with his mouth, which sends us into hysterics. I can never catch it, but he did it this morning, and even though the light was behind him, it's worth sharing.
