inspired by Colin's old veteran car

It's usually all wrapped up under an awning but every now and again, Colin has it out to tinker with its engine. Sometimes, on a fine day, he takes it for a run.

We were surprised to see it out so late in the year. Tomorrow it is going to be admired by folks who are going to guess its weight and how many miles it has done. I was so busy admiring the old banger that I forgot to ask Colin where the competition is being held, and what the prize is.

If it's an outing in this grand old veteran, I want to have a guess too.
