Wow! That's been a busy day

I've measured a 5km road race this morning then adjudicated a race at lunchtime.
A quick shower on the way home to prepare for the big one: AFC Fylde v Ilkeston in the FA Cup 4th qualifying round.

It's a long time since I've anticipated a match with such excitement. Nerves, excitement, oh yes serious Cup Fever.

There is no cure, and the more a team progresses the more people catch it.

Symptoms are relieved by match tickets, programmes, pies, pints and singing.

A close and entertaining game ended in a 1-1 draw, which was a fair result. So it's a replay on Monday and both sides go into the hat for the draw for the first round proper. I will await number 57 coming out eagerly.
