Floriferous
I blipped this hellebore on 31 Dec 2017, in monochrome, and it was in full flower then. Seven weeks later it's still flowering madly, with the whiteness of the newly unfurled flowers shading to a pale lime green with age. It doesn't seem to know when to stop, not that I'm complaining. Although it's not the most striking of our hellebores, it's easily the most floriferous, and its only fault is its attractiveness to predators, who nibble away at the petals whilst ignoring almost every other hellebore in the garden. This was one of those garden centre special offer impulse buys that turn out to be one of the best plants you've ever bought.
