Tulip leaves

In a month or so it'll be tulip time again. These pot grown ones have got going a bit prematurely, and if the weather forecast is to be believed are about to get quite a shock with daytime temperatures falling to around zero for a few days at least. But since they're here, I quite like to photograph them in monochrome, to emphasize the leaf shapes and surface texture. Once the border tulips have come up there will be more of a choice of leaves and flowers and for a month or two they'll be the stars of the show.
