Missed me

Its the first day of Spring.  Apparently its also the first time in about 8 years that there has been snow in this area.  It started lightly and we noticed that a small group of Redwing were in the field opposite along with some Lapwings and then two Golden Plover all searching for food.  I think conditions on the nearby estuary must be pretty bad for them.  Later as the snow fell more heavily they disappeared but it didn't stop the children and their parents from enjoying the weather.
