Abstract icy

I was hoping to get outside today to see what the town looks like in the snow.  Well first of all we couldn't see out of all the windows at the rear of the house, they looked like they had been frosted well they had really as they were covered in ice.  They remained like that for the rest of the day.  As we had rain during the night it had frozen over the snow and on all surfaces, it was therefore too slippery to go out.  I did open the back door hoping to go out into the garden but the ice and wind stopped me, what I remember most though was the sound of the frozen leaves on a small tree knocking against each other.  

We only saw one dog walker out all day from a street full of dogs and he had to carry his dog as it refused to walk.

So this is a shot of the garden fence and its icicles taken through the window as its to windy to open the window.  Lets hope we can venture out tomorrow.
