Bici!

After not being able to get to sleep until about 4:30 last night, I slept through my alarm and decided to write the day's lectures off. Instead, I went in search of a bike.

Found one online, phoned up, went to collect it. It was a 45 minute train journey to the east of Santander, in a town called Beranga, in the foothills. Beautiful train journey - through woods and pastures along the narrow gauge one-track railway.

After some difficulty finding the house, we exchanged bike for euros, and I cycled off towards Somo to catch the boat home. Some teething difficulties on the bike, but need some simple tools and it should come nice.

Such a nice day, so hot and sunny, was a shame to spend the evening in Spanish Class going over the subjunctive and doing a test...
