Bluethroat

It’s not been the best of days today with grey skies and showers. However it stopped raining in the middle of the day so we went for a walk along the boardwalks at Alvor to see if we could photograph any birds.

This bluethroat was a new one on me but it was easy to identify. My extra is a redshank. I’m really pleased with this picture but I had photographed one before so went with the unusual bluethroat.
