No Owls

We went to see if the Great Horned Owls had returned to their hollow tree yet, but their nest was empty and we didn't see them in any of the trees.  My first extra shows their empty nest.  My second extra shows two new Northern Flicker holes in another tree.  They were empty too but there were a lot of flickers in the area so I'm sure they will soon be occupied.  We'll go back again in a few weeks to check.  Last but not least, my main blip is a cute Downy Woodpecker.  He's quite a bit smaller than my eagle yesterday!

I am grateful that Piper, her dad and I had a nice walk on what was another beautiful day today!  I have Spring Fever! :-))
