Snow, Sea an Sand

More snow showers today, heavy at times and hail mixed in.  It's not really lying much now, and the thaw is on.  There was some sunny spells.  Less showers tonight, but a breeze is picking up. 

Another day off, and enjoyed a Sunday lie in.  We went for a run in the late morning, and popped along friends Janice and Jerry for a cuppa, then onto the beach for a walk.  More walkies with Sammy in the afternoon, and again this evening.  In between walks, it's been a movie day, mostly zombie movies.

The snow finally stopped, and we could get to the beach for a walk.  There was a few folk on the beach too, but no other dogs, so Sammy spent his time off the lead.  Around Scalloway and over the hills are still covered in snow, but not so much here in Burra.  A light scattering over the beach in places, and made an easy climb down to the beach.  The colour of the water may look tempting, but I didn't chance it :)  Taken at Meal beach, Burra.
