Looking east

Today's the day ........................ to be grey

This is all the snow that we have left in Kendal today - restricted to the field boundaries where it got blown and piled up.

This is the direction from whence the Beast from the East  angrily appeared, to whip us into submission before dashing off to chill elsewhere.  Everything is very subdued now - no light and no colour to speak of.

It's almost as if it was all just a bad dream .........................
