Today's the day ......................... to carry on

I did take some pictures of the fells today - but everything looked so drab and grey. 

So I thought I would go back to the hellebores and see if they had managed to cope with the covering of snow.  And well, of course, they had managed very well.  That's the advantage of keeping your head down - and effectively making your own little tent. 

All the while, they were just getting on with the business of making sure that they'll still be around this time next year ......................
