Goodbye Glasgow
We had time for a quick look around the Streets near the railway station before we caught the train home. The snow in the city has started to melt making it much easier to walk. We found the iconic statue of the Duke of Wellington with the traffic cones perched on his head. The cone appeared in 1980, some more fun info here https://inews.co.uk/inews-lifestyle/travel/glasgows-duke-wellington-statue-allowed-keep-cone/
A good journey back with no delays or hold ups. Well done to Scotrail, it could not have been easy to get all the rails cleared of the huge amounts of snow and ice.
