A Morning of Waterfowl

I’m well behind with blip…I’ve been poorly again, but today has been a good day and B and I went for a bimble with cameras.  It’s been ages, what with B having the most horrendous cold that must have seemed like it’s gone on forever, and me having only day without migraine in over a week it felt like a real treat to go to Pensthorpe today and have a wander among the ducks and geese.

My main blip is a Swan Goose, getting ready for a snooze, not a native to this country but a very attractive goose nevertheless.  The extra is a couple of my favourite water birds, tufted ducks, diving for the food that had been thrown into the lake by one of the wardens.  It’s surprising how many splashes they produce diving down for the seed.

A lovely day!

I will endeavour to catch up on comments soon, apologies for lack of them.
