Making Waves

Schools swimming gala finals night and the joys of queuing outside the pool for a good seat. We got there extra early so at least we'd be undercover, and C didn't object to my wearing my giant blue Dryrobe to keep me warm and dry!

With a very mixed team they'd only just scraped in to the final and came joint 10th of 12 but the kids enjoyed it and weren't expecting to do any better. C swam brilliant in both the relay team and her individual freestyle race, coming 2nd in both.

Hopefully that is the last of this prolonged rain, the rivers are getting dangerously high in Yorkshire now.
