Rain

It was raining this morning, and Isobel cancelled her Archie walk, though it did stop mid morning. Also, due to the rain, the chap who came to inspect the drainpipe went away without doing it. It has been leaking (for quite some time, apparently) and we have a bit of seeping dampness in the ceiling of our front room, which is a bit disconcerting. The downpipe needs to be tested when it's not raining.

We took Archie to the Links, where he ran between us till he got fed up. We were heading for a coffee in Bruntsfield, but I had a better idea - coffee at home, and watch the next episode of ‘A Place to Call Home' after yesterday's dramatic ending, which we did.

A lazy day for all.
