The Perfect Present

One of my closest friends, who I have known since we started our first jobs in adjacent rooms, found this cat for me on the market in La Palmyre, Charente-Maritime, last May.

She knows me well. She knows what I like. She knows my house - and she has impeccable taste. Even though my birthday wasn't for months, she knew this was the perfect present.
