Double Trouble

Rubbish blip alert

Sorry for the rubbish blip. It's my pillow btw

Well today didn't go as planned, got to the hospital just before 9, sent to wait in the "day room" crappy little room with squeaky chairs, sub zero temperatures and no magazines! For over an hour to then be called to speak to doctor.
Operation was cancelled as they had an emergency and I have to go back Monday.
Found out I was last on the list for the day and wouldn't have gone down until late afternoon by which time I would have not eaten for nearly 24hrs and not had a drink for about 18hrs. Why tell someone to get to hospital for 9 if they are not going to be operated on until late afternoon!
They have put me first on the list Monday.
They didn't seem concerned that I had started bleeding and didn't offer any advice or guidance as to what to do over the weekend or what to do if it got heavier/painful etc

Considering I worked for the NHS for 4 years I am still bemused by some of the things they do.

Have got a sick note from my GP so don't have to go back to work until November 5th. Also my lovely GP is doing some blood tests, as my mum has Hughes syndrome I don't have to wait to see if I miscarry again before I can have tests to rule out any blood/immune system issues that may have caused this miscarriage.

Am feeling more positive today.

Happy weekend people xx
