Shugborough Hall
A trip to the National Trusts newly acquired Shugborough Hall after the Orienteering today. Another run punctuated by mistakes.....must try to improve my concentration!
The Hall was only transferred to the Trust in 2016 and needs significant investment and conservation. The main is a Southdown sheep which along with longhorn cattle which would have been traditionally seen in this landscape. Lord Lichfield had an apartment here but we had not been told where to collect the tickets as we arrived. Tired legs meant we were not keen on returning to the ticket office to pick some up. The extras show the servant quarters and the Hall.
One day left to try and demonstrate I can Orienteer and then back home. Happy Easter everyone.
