Easter Monday

Easter has come and gone for another year and I think it’s probably the quietest Easter I can remember. We stayed off the roads for most of the weekend and that’s always a good idea. For some reason this is the busiest and most frenetic time in the Blue Mountains. Every man and his dog want to visit.

I love this image of the New Holland Honeyeater despite the fact that I just missed getting the whole of his left wing in the frame. It’s the first time I’ve seen the whole wing span, a most unusual image (for me that is :)
