Sheepskin Saturday

Another gorgeous blue sky, another gorgeous day.

Woke with a sore head after one large glass of wine last night (out at dinner). I am literally a drinking lightweight these days.

I let my husband lie in as a post-birthday treat and I got up with my headache and Chuckles. She is on top form and dare I say it, only waking four times a night recently. Not sure what has helped - the medicine, the baby rice, the lack of swaddling - but something is working. Please don't let if go back to every half hour. I'm just starting to feel human again!

We headed into Manchester to meet our friend Dan for lunch in The Living Room (we now have a favourite booth tucked away by the windows so if Audrey cries, we don't disturb other diners). After Eggs Benedict and coffees, it was a quick potter around town and then home for a cosy afternoon and evening in front of the tellybox.

Today's Blip pic was taken of me loaded up for our day out - gone are the days of dresses, heels and handbags....now it's comfy Ugg boots, huge changing bags and car seats! And Audrey obviously.
