The Long and Winding Road

Even though we were all a bit achey and stiff after yesterday's mammoth hike, we decided to head out to Stickle Tarn. The sun was out and it was really warm. It was a beautiful walk but really hard work. We definitely earned a pint by the time we came back down. 

We got back to the house and showered and changed for dinner and walked up the road to Dodd's Italian restaurant. It has a great reputation and last time we were here, we couldn't get a table so we were really pleased to get in there tonight and it didn't disappoint. 
Home now with a couple of bottles of red and we're looking for a film to watch.
