Birthday Bridge

Can a bridge have a birthday? Well this one did - 50 years old, Donnington Bridge in Oxford, one of the main links between the east and south of the city.... a traffic nightmare at peak times but with pretty good cycle lanes and lovely views up and down the river.

I cross this bridge several times a day and cycle under it up to 1o times in each direction at weekends as I bank ride for the junior rowers.
