twinned with trumpton

Up and out to the end of the harbour to meet up with Pensioner at the Boatie Club Lift In. Sunshine! Warmth! And sausage on a roll. With tea! Despite being assured that Ouzel was due  in at 0948, we arrived just after nine to find the tub already in next to the pontoon. So after a brief wander about and watching the action, we availed ourselves of the breakfast and tea and sat on the boat and bobbed about and soaked up some Vitamin D and chatted awhile. Having suitably exhausted the bronzed Pensioner, we went off to drop Tom at Laurie's for an afternoon of swimming at the Commie pool ahead of Laurie's birthday. So Alex and I went off into town for coffee al fresco (more Vitamin D) with her and generally ambled gently about.

After picking up Tom, we went to the bookies to instruct them on the important matters of putting a line on (they'd been speaking to their Grandpa earlier in the week who had been reminiscing about his time as an apprentice. He told them his main jobs were to make the tea and put the bets on for the guys). Tarragona Gran Reserva (2011) from Lidl and home for a stir fry and a sit down.

Extras are from the Boatie Club
