Opening Time. Almost...

Local weather Guru Windy Wilson says we are in for some summer weather next week with Thursday temps climbing to 20 degrees.  With this in mind today was the day to start preparing the Gin Palace for Spring/Summer season 2018.

The garden furniture has been cleared out of it, it has been throughly hoovered (all spiders and their webs have other creepy crawlies have been eradicated re-homed.) The windows have been washed and the sills cleaned and the seat cushions aired.

Lola was delighted to find the Gin Palace has a corner sofa too and wasted no time in finding her spot (see extra.)  

I almost blipped that shot but kept coming back to the one I blipped in the end as it illustrates far better than any words, why we are happy for Lola to share our sofas.  

As far as we are concerned, this is what welcoming a dog into our lives is all about.  A mutual bond of love and trust and sharing that affection.  I can't imagine life without her.  

All being well, this time tomorrow the Gin Palace will be adorned and ready to welcome the first proper day of warmth and sunshine, hopefully later this week.
