Princess Party
3years 7days
This morning was a playing at home kind of morning for Katie - a long one, she woke at 445 new time. Jobs for Mummy. But Katie had a really good play with her new stable set and princess castle, a long time playing with her kitchen and did a pile of jigsaws. I love watching her playing and seeing her chatter to her toys.
Late morning we got a taxi to our old village to set up for the first craft fair of the season. Katie had a lot of fun. She spent ages at the children's crafting table, she had a (rubbish!) butterfly painted on her cheek - but that was a huge landmark as it was the first time she'd allowed painting on her face. James and Emma arrived with their family, so Emma and Katie ran around together. Cousin1 arrived and played with them, and took them to the disco area where Katie danced for a long time.
After the fair, we stopped in tesco's before we headed to Katie's little friend's party. It was a Princess party - the room had been covered in Snow White wall hangings and such. And there was the peep through board here, for which I did all the photos. The children had their faces painted (Katie had a full face paint!) they did a treasure hunt, they did craft, pass the parcel, sleeping lions (Katie was rubbish!) ate Lots and had a fabulous time. She was snoring in Verity's dad's car about 2 minutes after we'd set off!
