"Chewing the fat"

James and Gran enjoying the sun at our front door this afternoon.
James arrived early this morning as Fiona was heading into the maternity wing. Meanwhile we waited with bated breath until late afternoon. Finally we heard that baby Annabelle had arrived and Mum and daughter are both doing fine. No photos as yet but it is quite possible that little Annabelle will have a starring role tomorrow.
