Shonen Knife

After arriving home from the Lake District I went over to Manchester this evening to see Shonen Knife at the Night and Day Cafe.

Shonen Knife are an all-female Japanese rock band who formed in Osaka in 1981. They are influenced by 1960s girl groups, pop bands, the Beach Boys and early punk bands like the Ramones so what is there not to like.

It was a joyous concert and you can tell from my blips that the band enjoyed it.
