A Rainy Monday

In every holiday a little rain must fall. This was our day for rain and it rained all day long. We had a lovely morning at home before venturing out for provisions. The first extra is in contrast to my first blip from Rome on the 5th.

We wanted to see what the Pantheon was like in the rain and as you might expect, it was wet. The rain fell through that perfect dome (last extra) and made for interesting patterns in the reflection on the floor.

We then wandered down to the Ghetto and saw these reminders of the Holocaust (see extra number four) . There were so many of these markers on one small street.

We ended the day as we have become accustumed - with gelato from our local gelataria around the corner from home.
