An early start!! These light mornings and the dawn chorus are wakening Amber about 5.30 am. She does go back to sleep after going out for the 'necessary', but that doesn't help us!!

A trip to Gainsborough for an appointment then back home mid-morning. I was shattered and fell asleep on the settee for a while.

We took Amber for a walk round one of the lakes at Whisby Nature Park this afternoon. This is where we saw the coal train. plus hundreds of noisy black headed gulls, a melodious blue tit and a cute rabbit.

We have a very busy weekend, in and out for a number of functions, so dropped Amber off at a 'Doggy Hotel". She has been there before and seems to enjoy the experience.

We called in past a garden centre for some plant food and found this poppet hinding in the flowers bee hunting.

B is out coaching athletics this evening and the house seems so strange and quiet without my little helper, who shadows me when B is out.
