Retirement and 200!

It was just to cool to note two important occasions in one photo today. My son said I had forever marked myself as a geek by doing this, but I figure I had done that years ago, far before he was ever born. This is the retirement party today. I have decided to work part-time until May and will turn in paperwork on Monday.

I really appreciate blipfoto. This is one of the first things in my life I think I have ever managed to sustain for 200 straight days. It has kept me walking and seeing for all those days. I am seeing so many new things, by virtue of looking for pictures, and I am smoking those students who think I am an easy mark when it comes to the 3 story climb to the top of the parking structure. I end up on top first and not even breathing hard. Of course, maybe they don't know we are racing.

Anyway, I give thanks today for the day I was given, blipfoto, old friends and co-workers and my sweet Helen Cat, this evening's typing assistant.
