Iris

The sun is so bright today that it's a bit tricky to get a good photo, although the upside is that the shutter speed is much faster which helps with handholding. In fact, I'm only now realizing how big an impact that has on the sharpness of photos (well, my photos...).

The sun has brought the irises out all of a sudden and for a few days they'll look fabulous - they know how to overdo it. I think there may be fewer blooms than last year, so I'll have to continue the process of removing the old rhizomes and replanting the healthy ones.
