I was reflecting on how differently I spend Bank Holiday Monday mornings these days…

My Bank Holiday Monday morning (present day)

Walk Murphy up Blackford Hill. (Complete 10000 steps by 9.00 am)
Make muffins to use up manky bananas
Ferry Eldest Mini Princess to and from Orthodontist
Three loads of laundry
Hoover up 10 kg of dog hair
‘Taste test’ two muffins at 11.30 am

My Bank Holiday Monday morning (in my twenties)

Tentatively open one eye at 11.30 am
Diagnose potentially fatal hangover
Groan
Go back to sleep

I wouldn’t swap it for all the tea in China!
