HORSE!

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I was surprisingly ok this morning which is just as well as it’s never good to mix the weekly parental visit with a hangover!

They arrived with my niece and my brother’s puppy, Bella. Bella is RELENTLESS with Murphy. She steals his toys when he is chewing them and constantly climbs all over him, biting his ears. He is remarkably patient with her. Every now and then, he puts a paw on her head as a warning but this does not diminish her enthusiasm.

We decided to take them for a walk as poor Murphy was running round the kitchen table to get away from her. Mary Doll was very confused by our ‘’Horse’ game and showed no desire to participate when we explained the highly complicated rules!

We were throwing balls for the dogs and Mary Doll decided to join in on the fun. She threw the ball into the vast space in front of her. Right into the back of Eldest Mini Princess’s head. A whole two metres away!

We were crying with laughter and started doing comedy ‘taking cover’ poses any time she picked up the ball.

This, from the woman who gets annoyed my clumsiness!
