Worm-eating Warbler
We went out for a morning with our friend Arn* this morning, to Mount Tom to our south, where we had this worm-eating warbler. This is the best shot I have of it (not easy to see); the head stripes are its main feature, and they stand out boldly here. Previously we had been to Sunderland (north of us), where we saw the pair of wood ducks in the extra (the male is above; they have totally different plumages).
*Arn is from our bird club, we have been out with him many times, as for example two years ago, when we saw another worm-eating warbler (posted then as an extra).
