Hurricane Sandy
We drove to Troutbeck this morning my Grandpa's huge property. It was lovely to see that place again, allow now closed memories flooded back from when we went their years ago. Everything seemed so small but I guess that's just because I'm bigger!
After that we drove through to Larchmont where my Mum grew up. We could clearly see the effects Sandy had caused on the area. And this was nothing compared to the reports from Manhattan. We managed to dodge this hurricane very well indeed. This was taken from Larchmont.
The hurricane made our lives very stressful and difficult over the past few days but we were all very thankful that we were in Boston and other areas when New York took the brunt because it sounded like chaos! NYC has never seen such a natural disaster in history apparently. Great timing eh.
