Chipmunks on the Doorstep

Dear Diary,

I spent the afternoon with friend and fellow blipper Berelaxed at her lovely wildlife sanctuary home this afternoon.  As chilly as it was, we sat out on the patio to be entertained by the comings and goings of her various woodland friends.  This is Tilly, a very brave and adorable chipmunk, enjoying peanut treats on the doorstep under the watchful eye of the redoubtable Ms. Raspberry, the gorgeous Abyssinian super model.  B had a great old book that I would love to find, full of interesting chipmunk facts and beautiful drawings of these charming little ones.

Tomorrow, I will be visiting my heart's home, Concord and then staying with an friend I taught with for many years so the wonderful birthday week continues.  I want to get up early and watch the royal wedding but I don't know if I will.  I may rely on replays later on.  I did get up at 4 am back in 1981 to see Charles and Diana's wedding but I am a bit older now and a bit more enamored with my sleep so we'll see.
