Visitors!

Didn’t have the time inclination today. Besides, our friends from Holland arrived at an early hour and I met them at the airport.

They were delighted to see the blue skies, but in reality, that chilly breeze brought the temperatures down to fairly bloomin' bone chilling temps. But it did not deter the mad Scots! We took a drive to Porty Beach, and there, to my guests' amazement, were people in skimpy swimwear, people swimming (well, one) and hundreds a fair few sunbathing! You could tell the visitors - they were dressed in full winter gard - coats, hoods, hats, scarfs. We did have ice creams, mind you.

Archie is still a bit suspicious of the visitors, but Tineke and I took him to the park where he played his favourite game of 'don’t bother returning the ball'.

Elizabeth came to take him out as usual (extra shows him charging about with a big black Labrador, whose hind quarters stayed just too far ahead of him) and stayed for dinner, much to Archie's delight! He got more bits of pork than he would have got normally...
