Saturday: From Above

We had a good start to the day in the form of a two hour 'hike' in Pacific Spirit Park.  We still struggle to call it a hike - in UK terms it was going for a walk but it seems that here, any prolonged walk in a forest-like environment can legitimately be called a hike, so we're calling it what it is.  Besides, it sounds more impressive.

This evening we met up with H & J for a very pleasant meal in the rotating restaurant at the top of the Vancouver Lookout.  The service was average but the food and views were great.  We were there long enough to have three rotations so saw the city from sunset through to darkness.
