The deluge.

I have always fancied a swimming pool but I have to say at my back door is not my chosen position! With the huge downpour we have just had it was touch and go as to wether or not it would come into the kitchen. Been there and got the Tee Shirt and I didn’t like it much! However it has now stopped raining and hopefully the water will drain away. Still very muggy though.

Farming - breakages today two. Two slow punctures on one of the Bailey trailers and another hydraulic pipe decided to give up on the muck spreader. Rusty was not impressed as it took him two and a half hours to get it off and he was plastered in oil, dung and mud! Most attractive! Two on compost hauling as usual.

Mr Tbay spent a large percentage of the day trying to sort out the insurance claim for the truck. It seems that the perpetrator is playing hard to get hold of and we don’t think he was insured. So we have had to claim though our policy. Grrrrrr! Even that is complicated by the fact it is an uninsured driver.

Hoping the weather improves as we are off to the Bath and West again tomorrow!
